Applying the Contrastive Approach to English Grammar Teaching

英语语法教学对本科生特别是师范类学生来说很重要,而语法却是一门比较枯燥乏味的课程,且多数现象是在中学出现过的,这就要求教师在授课中应当根椐学生的具体情况采用适当的教学方法,使他们对英语语法体系要有一个全面、正确、清晰、系统的认识,并能对语法现象做出正确、合理的解释与分析。丈章根据英语语言内部的规则及汉语语言的规则,提出采用对比方法进行专业英语语法教学的观点。

English Grammar teaching is very important to graduates, especially to normal school students. However, grammar is a quite dull course, and students have learned most of it in middle school. Therefore, it requires that teachers should adopt proper teaching methods according to the students' levels, which can guide them to have an all-round, correct, clear and systematic knowledge of grammar, and give a correct and reasonable explanation and analysis on grammar. Based on the rules of the English language and the Chinese language, this paper puts forward a position that English grammar can be taught by applying the contrastive approach.
