本文根据韩礼德系统功能语法中语篇衔接理论,从衔接和连贯的角度,结合航海英语语料实例进行语篇分析,阐述了衔接与连贯在航海英语语篇中的运用,说明掌握了衔接和连贯这一语言理论,能够有效地对航海英语篇章结构进行系统性的认识,从而更深刻地理解和领会航海英语语篇所要传达的信息和主旨,提高航海英语的综合运用能力。

In this paper, upon the analysis of some examples from Nautical English practical text according to Holliday's Functional Grammar on Cohesion and Coherence theory, the application of cohesion and coherence in Nautical English text is interpreted and expatiated. In each section, a summary of the feature of the cohesive means and its function in nautical English come immediately after the analysis accordingly. Therefore, in the ending part of the paper only the significance and necessity to teaching will be provided.
