The structure of vehicle monitor system based on GPS/GSM and the techn ological process of vehicular terminator was introduced briefly, the key techniq ues in development of vehicular unit were probed into, such as NMEA protocol, AT command, SMS form, coding and decoding method, the software and hardware design and implementation in vehicular unit were presented finally. The system has man y virtues, such as low cost and wide scope.
