Looper integrated control is the key to successful operations in the hot strip finishing mill, simultaneously ensure the quality of strip thickness and width. This paper gives the core idea of looper integrated control. It emphasizes on Soft-Touch control, constant tension control and control without toss tail. The idea had been applied successfully to some hot strip mill.
