This article elaborates the background of constructing the geological data management system and makes an in-depth analysis on the demand of data users. Based on this, this article puts forward a detailed plan which is mainly about data flow, system framework and function, technology environment, interface, data collection and storage, software development etc. Thus the article does a useful research on the construction of geological data management system.
