This article introduces the air injection project about its principle in the improvement of oil recovery, and its state in experimental research and field application. According to the geological condition of our oil field, evaluates the possible application and bright future of this project,suggests that the site experiment should be done firstly in the light oil reservoir during its high water cut stage, to get some new effect and considerable profits.
