利用OLR场对西太平洋副热带高压的描述

Using OLR field to describe West Pacific subtropical high

为了定量描述西太平洋副热带高压的强度变化,利用1 989～2 0 0 2年每年的5～9月OLR场的月(候)平均资料,以其特征量作为描述副高的一种方法。将副高的特征量:西伸脊点、脊线位置、副高北界以及强度指数分别进行重新定义,并与由中国国家气候中心提供的相应资料进行对比分析。结果表明,OLR场可以很好地描述西太平洋副热带高压的位置。

In order to describe the intensity of West Pacific subtropical high quantitatively, the characteristic values were brought forward by using OLR field. West ridge point, subtropical high ridge, north boundary and magnitude index of subtropical high were redefined. Comparing with the relevant data of national climatic center, the results indicate that OLR field can describe the position and magnitude of subtropical high very well, and reflect its activity rule.
