对国内外遥感技术在荒漠化监测与评价中的发展情况进行了介绍,对荒漠化及其动态变化遥感监测方法进行了总结,数字图像处理将成为区域土壤荒漠化遥感监测的主要手段。土地及生态环境荒漠化是一个世界性的问题,应将遥感和遥感图像处理技术的最新成果运用到荒漠化监测与评价中,对荒漠化的评价指标体系再深入研究,统一出一套完全切实有效的体系,以利于各地区荒漠化评价结果的对照比较。

First introduced the development in applying remote sensing technology to monitor and evaluation of desertification, and then summarized monitor methods of desertification and it’s development, it was shown that digital image processing will become the principal means to monitor the zone’s desertification. Based on making full use of the latest achievements of remote sensing and image processing technology in the monitor and evaluation of desertification and making a thorough research on the index system of desertification evaluation, find out a effective and feasible index system in order to compare the results of desertification evaluation in different zone.
