Inter-organizational Relations: A Survey of Resource Dependence Perspective

任何组织都必须关注外部环境因素,这种关注的需要构成了一种依赖形式,而代表这种依赖来源的外部因素通常是其他组织,因此被其他组织所依赖的某个组织可以获得影响这些组织的权力。本文追溯了资源依赖理论的历史演进,考察了组织间的权力来源,探讨了资源依赖理论的贡献和争议问题。

All organizations must respond to the environmental factors outside. This constitutes a form of dependence. And the outside factors which represent the source of this dependence are often other organizations. An organization on which other organizations are dependent may as a consequence gain power over them. This paper briefly traces the historical evolution of resource dependence theory, reviews the sources of inter-organizational power, and discusses the contribution and unanswered questions of resource dependence theory.
