批判的退场——对当代诗歌的一种描述

A Description of Contemporary Chinese Poetry

考察二十余年来当代汉诗的精神变迁,其对历史现实的批判介入,呈现出一条不断下滑的轨迹:从朦胧诗为自由正义的呼唤抗争,到后现代颓废式的欲望渲泄,新传统主义对历史资源的一味迷醉,再到“知识分子写作”的精神高蹈,其内在的血色日益淡薄,对意识形态与生活秩序的反抗也愈来愈弱。因此,重建强大的审美批判精神,向生存的现实敞开,在传统与现代的碰撞融合中,获得无可替代的深刻差异性,也就成为汉语诗歌能否在二十一世纪真正成熟壮大的关键所在。

I've sadly found that the contemporary Chinese poetry is becoming weaker and weaker at both criticizing the historical realities and fighting against ideology and hierarchy. We can learn this by referring to the period in which in the beginning the Misty Poetry called for struggles for freedom and justice, then the late modern poetry concentrated on the expression and realization of human desires,the new traditionalism was lost in the historical resources, and in the end the intellectuals spiritually satisfied themselves through writing. Therefore, a vital measure we must take at present for the survival and growth of the contemporary Chinese poetry is to recreate the spirit of aesthetic criticism,face the realities,and gain the irreplaceable great uniqueness from the collision between the modern and traditional ideas and from the merging of them two.
