Architects in nowadays realize more and more crisis to their profession which has been brought from technological revolution. They are spurred to think about the tendency of architecture theory by the conflict between architect and development of technique. In this essay, the author analyzed the relationship between architects and the development of technique from the historical view of architecture theory, and try to find the true responsibility and the meaning of being an architect.
