In this paper, the necessity of bringing forth new ideas in science and technology in ceramic industry and training of ceramics talents in Tangshan was clarified simply. The concrete measures of bringing forth new ideas in science and technology in Tangshan ceramic industry were discussed. The significance of training of ceramics talents and making full use of ceramics talents now available was elaborated.
