当代一些学术期刊编辑受传统思维模式的影响和制约 ,形成了重整体、重综合、崇尚圣贤经典的价值取向 ,使办刊过程中产生了许多误区 ,刊物平庸无奇 ,缺少个性与生机。认为期刊要发展、要同世界接轨 ,必须调整和革新编辑的思维模式与价值取向。

Influenced by Chinese traditional thoughts, some contemporary academic journal editors have whole-comprehensive and authority-abstruseness thinking patterns and value orientation. Editors with such ideas are easy to deviate in distinguishing and appraising manuscripts. This would lead to some manuscripts with high quality encounter neglect, while some manuscripts with little academic value pass off. The editorial aim of survival of the fittest is difficult to realize. If a journal wants to develop and integrate with the world, editors with such ideas must adjust and change their thinking pattern and value orientation.
