In terms of strain analysis theory and robust parameter estimation, the robust estimators of strain parameters as well as the influence function of observation errors to solutions are derived and formulated. It is demonstrated by numerical example that the robust estimation of the strain parameter can effectively control the influence of outliers to the parameter estimates. The strain estimators obtained from robust parameter estimation are effective and reliable.
