摘要
原型人物的身体姿态与向前行进的典型性特征使一些概念通过隐喻得到延伸和认知,由此形成的概念隐喻具有系统性和连贯性.本文借助于相关语料分析,揭示了原型人物在英语空间性状概念隐喻中的认知理据.
The features of the prototype person and the characteristics of the forward body movement make some concepts metaphorically motivated and recognized; these conceptual metaphors are systematic and coherent. With the help of analyzing some language metaphors, this paper gives the cognitive motivations of English spatial characteristic conceptual metaphors.
