Modern Science and Technology and Man's Subjective Existence

人非生来就是主体,人的主体性存在既不是人惟一可能的存在方式,也不是人最基本、最原始的存在方式。人成为一种主体性存在是现代科技的产物,它无论对人本身和人周围的世界都是一件重大事件。正是人的主体性存在使人脱离自然并一跃而成为自然的主宰和统治者,导致人类中心主义,从而打破自然生态平衡,带来生态的恶化。

Man is not born the subject. Man's subjectivity is neither his only existing form nor his basic and primitive existing way. His subjective existence is the product of modern science and technology, which is a significant matter to man and the surrounding world. It is man's subjective existence that makes him break away from the nature, become the ruler of the nature , break the biological balance of the nature and harm it.
