摘要
韩礼德将原属于修辞学的隐喻运用于语言研究,提出了语法隐喻的概念。语法隐喻和词汇隐喻是两个不同层面的语言运用现象。本文概括分析了语法隐喻中的概念隐喻、人际隐喻和情态隐喻以及词汇隐喻的主要观点,认为语法隐喻是客观存在的语言现象,应把握其本质,更好的服务于语言教学。
Halliday applied metaphor in rhetorics into language study and put forward the notion of grammaticalmetaphor.Grammati-calmetaphor and lexical metaphor are language usages on different stages. The main ideas of grammatical metaphor and lexical metaphor have been discussed in this paper and concluded that in order to teach language well it is necessary to master the essence of grammatical metaphor.
