使用线缆和DSL的Internet连接速度已经超过了T1(传输速率可达1.544Mb/s的通讯线路),这两种连接方式已经在商业领域得到了广泛地应用。对于DSL和线缆连接使用Linux做路由器,是一个非常经济的解决方案。特别是与一些高端商家(比如Cisco)的解决方案相比,这种优势尤为明显。

The Internet conjunction speeds by using the cable and DSL have already exceeded the T1( the transfer rate can reach the communication circuit of the 1.544 Mb/s), so these two kinds of conjunction methods have already got the extensive application in the business. For the DSL and the cable conjunctions, using Linux to make the router is a very economic solution. Especially comparing the solution project to several higher levels company (for example Cisco), the advantage is very obvious.
