摘要
笔者在第二语言习得理论指导下对大学本科公共英语口语教学规律进行探索和实验,确立“以学生为中心、以交际为重点”的理念,制订并实施符合学生需求及学习规律的三阶段教学法,英语口语教学取得了良好的效果。
This paper explores the desirable approach to teaching spoken English in light of the contemporary second/foreign language learning theories. The whole training process is identified as three broadly defined stages: the initial “Pre-speaking Period”, the follow-up “Creative Construction Period”, and the final “Communicative Competence Period”. The scoring result of the terminal test points out that only with students at the center of language teaching, can we really improve students' oral communicative abilities.
