《穆天子传》“启居黄台之丘”考——兼论周穆王东巡的地理问题

Study on Hillock Huangtai Where Qi Lived as Recorded in Biography of King Mu

长期以来,学术界对《穆天子传》中“启居黄台之丘”的解释分歧较大。从启的活动地域及《穆传》东巡路线综合考察,似可判定“启居黄台之丘”有可能就在文献记载的钧台,即今河南禹州一带。20世纪以来长期流行的黄台之丘在今河南新郑、新密之间的说法,缺乏较为可靠的文献和考古学依据,“启居黄台之丘”与洧水流域新砦遗址及古城寨龙山时代城址并不相涉。

There has long been divarication in the academia about the explanation of Hillock Huangtai where Qi(启)lived, a place mentioned in Biography of King Mu. Examining synthetically the region where Qi lived and the route King Mu took while rounding in the East as recorded in Biography of King Mu, we seem to be justified in concluding that Hillock Huangtai where Qi lived would be in Juntai written in literature, a place near Yuzhou City, Henan Province. The popular parlance in the 20th century is in lack of credible evidence in literature and archeology. Hillock Huangtai where Qi lived is independent of Xinzhai site and Guchengzhai city in Longshan times in Weishui(洧水) valley.
