论网络学习模式介入大学英语教育:有效性研究(英文) 被引量:1

WEB DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE: AN EFFICACY STUDY OF WEB-BASED COLLEGE ENGLISH LEARNING

摘要 为推动大学英语教学改革,上海交通大学开创了基于网络的大学英语学习模式。本文旨在探讨该网络学习模式的有效性,文章通过实证研究检验了基于网络的大学英语学习模式是否并如何在以下方面实现了二语习得的要求,如:意义协商(negotiation of meaning),语言输出(language output),学习动力 (motivation)以及学习者自主学习能力(learner autonomy)。结论是网络学习模式,如果恰当地介入大学英语教育,能够有效地强化英语学习的过程并培养学生英语综合应用能力。 In response to the current college English education reform in China, a Web-based English program has been designed in Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). An Empirical study is carried out to examine the efficacy of the Web-based learning from the perspective of different Second Language Acquisition (SLA) theories, i.e., negotiation of meaning, motivation, learner output, and learner autonomy. It is concluded that the incorporation of Web-based learning into college English education does enhance the language learning process effectively and helps learners to develop their overall ability to use English.
