How to Improve the Students’ Reading Ability in Higher Vocational Colleges

分析了高职高专学生英语阅读过程中普遍存在的问题, 并就如何提高学生阅读能力提出了解决的办法,即引导学生明确阅读目的, 熟练各种阅读技巧, 达到对语言材料的推论理解, 从而有效地提高学生的英语阅读能力。

The author analyses the reading problems existed in the students of the Higher Vocational Colleges, and gives some solutions to the reading problems:that is to help the students understand the purpose of reading, use every kind of reading skills and fully understand reading materials, thus to improve the students’ reading ability.
