It is very difficult to match well test data of triple medium reservoir by hand because there are more parameters to be analyzed. Genetic algorithm has global convergence, which is auto-adaptable and non-linear optimum algorithm without gradient information. It is successful to match the well test data of triple medium reservoir automatically by use of genetic algorithm that improves the matching speed and precision between theoretical pressure and measured pressure.
