近年来,恩施州山野菜资源开发力度不断增强,特别是富硒野菜被誉为“稀世之宝”,为山野菜产业开发展现了宽广的前景。要解决好市场需求与资源有限这一矛盾,只有在生态平衡的弹性范围内,坚持在经济、社会和生态效益统一的前提下,积极、合理、充分开发与有效的保护相结合,以保护为前提,实行有限度的开发利用,保持山野菜产业快速、健康、协调发展,促进地方经济有效发展。

Exploitation effort for mountain wild vegetable in Enshi Prefecture over recent years is strengthening constantly; especially rich selenium-contain wild vegetable is reputed as 'rare treasure', and presents a broad prospecting for its industry development.
