Introduction of Foreign Database Resources for Searching Novelty in Fishery and Aquatic product

根据水产、渔业的行业特点以及查新的经验,介绍了Dialog和NISC中与渔业相关的数据库和网上免费的专利资源。并详细介绍了剑桥科学文摘中的水产科学和渔业文摘(ASFA);以及NISC的水生生物学,养殖和渔业文摘(ABASR)二个水产、渔业专业数据库。

According to experience of searching novelty and the industry characteristic of fishery & aquatic product, the author introduces some databases in Dialog & NISC systems and free patent databases on the Internet. There are two databases more useful than others. One is Aquatic Sciences & Fisheries Abstracts (ASFA), from Cambridge Scientific Abstracts, sponsored by four U.N. agencies and produced in partnership with research centers worldwide. Another is Aquatic Biology, Aquaculture & Fisheries Resources (ABAFR), providing access to information on the science and management of aquatic organisms and environments.
