摘要
第三期儒学一概念,原为“儒学之第三期”,首见于抗战胜利后牟宗三先生起草的《鹅湖书院缘起》,产生于当年鹅湖儒者群体之文化意识与文化反省。这是一个历史文化的概念。牟先生将儒学第三期之发扬定性为一场我们这个时代“担负圣人型范下大事业”的文化运动。由第三期儒学文化运动所要树立所依据的“道德的理想主义”之大纲维与时代之需要,牟先生提出道统、学统、政统三统并建说。此是牟先生为儒学第三期文化运动确定的总使命、总方向与三大原则。
The concept of the Third Period of Confucianism appeared in the book of The Origin of Oehu Academy that drafted by MOU Zong-san after winning the War of Resistance Against Japan, and came from the cultural consciousness and cultural self-examination of the group that was made of some Confucian scholars in those years. The Third Period of Confucianism is a concept of historical culture. MOU Zong-san thought that The Third Period of Confucianism is a cultural movement of Bearing Great Cause under the Model of the Sage. Proceeding from the program of moral idealism and the needs of the times, MOU Zong-san proposed the theory of building the interconnecting thread of the way, scientific learning and democratic system of governance at the same time. It is necessary for the cultural movement of The Third Period of Confucianism. And there are the general mission, general orientation and three great principles.
