演化增长理论的演变可以分为三个阶段,即强调技术变迁、制度变迁、技术与制度的协同演化等阶段。它批评了新古典增长理论采用“完全理性”、“一般均衡”等脱离实际的方法,分析了经济增长应采用的演化机制。演化增长理论克服了新古典增长理论的不足,在一定程度上超越了新古典主义增长理论,在经济理论上具有重要的贡献。

The development of evolutionary growth theory is divided into three stages,that is,the stage of emphasizing technological change,the stage of emphasizing institution change, and the stage of emphasizing co-evolution of technological change and institution change.It criticizes the methods of “complete rationality”、“general equilibrium”and others in neoclassical growth theory ,which are deviated from the facts.At the same time, the mechanism of evolutionary growth is given.Because it overcomes the defaults of neoclassical growth theory,evolutionary growth theory surpasses neoclassical growth theory in some degree,and it gives rise to new contributions to economic theory.
