The Relationship between Insulin and Insulin-like Growth Factors and IUGR

胎儿宫内发育迟缓(IUGR)会阻碍动物的生长发育,尤其是动物消化系统的生长发育。本文综述了胰岛素和胰岛素样生长因子(IGFs)对动物生长发育的影响,及二者与IUGR的关系,提出胰岛素和IGFs可能对IUGR的治疗有重要意义,具有良好的应用前景。

Intrauterine growth retardation (IUGR) blocks the growth of animal, especially the development of the digestive system. The effect of insulin and insulin-like growth factors(IGFs) on the growth and development of animal, and the relationship between both insulin and IGFs and IUGR are reviewed. There is much prospect of curing IUGR by supplying insulin and IGFs.
