国内三轮摩托车配装的发动机,大多是在两轮摩托车发动机的基础上,再配装倒档器和后桥而成。三轮摩托车和两轮摩托车对发动机的性能要求及使用目的不同,因此开发适用于各类三轮摩托车使用的发动机已成为摩托车行业的一个重要研究课题。

Engines equipped on homemade three-wheeled motorcycles are mostly those which are based on those engines for two-wheeled motorcycles plus reverse gear and rear axle. There are differences between the two types of motorcycles in the requirement for engine performance and in the purpose of use, therefore it is an important research topic for the motorcycle sector to develop engines for three-wheeled motorcycles.
