摘要
作为一门新的学科,第二语言习得系统研究习得的本质和过程。重点剖析母语、语言输入、语言输出、个人差异、以及社会文化环境等变量与第二语言习得结果的关系。在习得过程中,语言输入与输出对学习者最终所能达到的理解和运用第二语言的水平发挥着至关重要的作用。合理的语言输入能够激活人类与生俱有的语言习得机制,语言输出则能体现人类对新知识的认知心理活动及语言的可塑性和创造性。
SLA(second language acquisition),as a new disciplinary,systematically studies the nature and the process of acquiring another language. It mainly dissects the relationship between SLA and many variables, such as native language, language input, language output, individual difference, and sociocultural environment, etc. In the process of second language study, language output and input play a vital role in deciding learners' ultimate proficiency in comprehending and employing the target language. Appropriate language input can activate the innate LAD(language acquisition device) of human being, while language output is able to demonstrate the activities of human psychological cognition, and to embody the flexibility and creativity of human language.
