Practical software products of CAD/CAM were introduced.With the numeric control machine tool in lab, the paper discribed procedure steps of using the CAD/CAM software products, their scops of applicability and roles in the machine process .The problems of file formats in data convertion and the develop-ment of solution and also the development of CAD/CAM integration system on NC machine tool were proposed.Based on network is the development trend for computer-aided industrial design.
