The Form Feature Model for Complicated Bend Parts in a Progressive Dies CAD/CAM System

形状信息是产品信息的核心，在模具ＣＡＤ／ＣＡＭ系统中，如何将制件的形状信息转化成计算机所能理解的表示形式，是后继工艺设计、模具结构设计的基础。分析复杂弯曲件的形状特征信息，采用一种特征树的方法来表示复杂弯曲件的结构，建立复杂弯曲件的形状特征模型，并成功地将它应用于高精度级进模ＣＡＤ／ＣＡＭ系统。

Form feature is the kernel of product definition.In this paper,the geometric shape of complicated bend parts is analysed.A feature tree is used to describe the structure of complicated parts and the form feature model of complicated bent parts is established and successfully used in progressive die CAD/CAM systems.
