略论太平天国时期清廷对湘系集团的抑制政策

On Suppressing Policies of Qi ng Dynasty to the Xiang Troops during the Taiping Heavenly Kin gdom

湘系集团以镇压太平天国农民革命运动起家。其重要代表人物曾国藩、胡林翼、左宗棠等人久居要职 ,对当时政局影响很大 ,清廷虽多方抑制却难以收到自己所期望的效果 ,汉族地主官僚开始在晚清政局中占据优势 。

The Xiang Troop s grew and thri ved by suppressing the peasant uprising of Taiping Heavenly Kingdom.The main rep resentatives,Zeng Guo fan,HU lin yi,ZUO Zong tang and so on,whop occupied import ant positions in Qing Dynasty for a long time,influenced the political situation then greatly.Though the Qing Dynasty go vemment suppressed them in all respects, yet the result was not ideal as expectde the political affaires of the late Qing Dynasty and sped up the Qing Dynastys collapse objectively.
