Legislation driving the industrialization of recovery anddisposal of waste and old household appliances in China

目前,我国已成为家电的生产、消费、出口和报废大国。加快立法进程,研究建立我国废旧家电回收处理体系,推进废旧家电回收处理产业化,已成为贯彻落实科学发展观,走新型工业化道路,发展循环经济,建设节约型社会,实施可持续发展战略的一项十分重要而紧迫的任务。

At present, China has become the major country ofhousehold appliance production, consumption and ex-portation in the world. Accelerating legislationprogress, researching and developing the advanced re-covery and disposal system of waste and old house-hold appliances and promoting the industrialization of waste and old household appliance recovery anddisposal have become a very important and urgenttask for China to implement scientific concept ofdevelopment, take a new road to industrialization,develop circular economy, construct a conservation-minded society and implement sustainable develop-ment strategy.
