摘要
2004 年11 月29 至30 日,第八次东盟中日韩13 国领导人在老挝首都万象举行了一系列会议。会议确定了东亚合作的发展方向,提升了合作机制;10+1 框架下的合作也取得了重大进展。笔者认为2005 年的东亚合作将呈现新的局面,并主要表现在5 个方面。
The 8th ASEAN+3 Summit was held in Vientiane, Laos on Nov. 29-30, 2004. During the meeting, the long-term goal of East Asian cooperation was agreed on unanimously, thereafter to be known as 'East Asian Community'. The means of accomplishing this goal will be the subject of the first 'East Asian Summit' to be held in Malaysia in 2005. The author argues that East Asian cooperation will enter a new phase, and he develops the argument in five aspects.
