Major Achievements in Ten Aspects of China’s Oil & Gas Exploration in 2004 and Their Enlightenments

2004年,我国油气勘探取得丰硕成果,新增石油、天然气探明地质储量分别达到13. 2亿吨和5 533亿立方米,是近40年来的高峰年;十个方面的重大突破和发现表明,我国油气资源总体上比较丰富,具有较大的勘探空间,为我国油气工业长期发展提供了资源依据。

China’s oil & gas exploration gained abundant achievements in 2004, newly increased proved geological reserves of oil & gas respectively reached to 1.32 billion tons and 553.3 billion cubic meters, reaching to the peak year within recent 40 years. The important breakthroughs and discoveries in ten aspects indicate that, overall , China’s oil & gas resources are fairly rich, there is a large space to explore, thus providing resource basis for the long-term development of China’s oil & gas industry.
