The research of the contemporary characteristics of Marxist philosophy is a hot topic in philosophy field in the recent years. This paper makes a comprehensive analysis on its connotation and the ways of research so as to provide some help for the people to have a better understanding. On this basis, this paper points out Marxist philosophy is still the philosophy which can not be surpassed in our times and which is still of penetrating explanatory, exuberant vitality and far reaching significance.
