摘要
中西文化的差异导致英汉词汇在涵义、语域和功能诸方面的非对应性。翻译时切不可望文生义,应着重考虑读者的理解,遵从目的语所属的文化习惯,并在指称意义与语用意义冲突时多用异化。
The differences between Chinese and western cultures will bring about incongruity of the words in implication, in the domain, and in function. During the translation, we mustn't interpreter the meaning of a word or sentence superficially, we should take the understanding of the readers into account, and we ought to observe the cultural customs of the target language. And when there are clashes in the referent meaning and in the meaning of pragmatics, we should use alienation.
