摘要
目的 探讨血管内皮细胞生长因子在胃癌中的表达及临床意义。方法 应用免疫组化S- P法,检测1 2 4例胃癌病人组织中血管内皮细胞生长因子(VEGF)蛋白表达和微血管密度(MVD) ,分析VEGF和MVD及其与胃癌组织学分型,TNM分期、癌肿浸润转移的关系。结果 VEGF表达强度和MVD与胃癌的TNM分期(P<0 .0 5 )、淋巴结转移(P<0 .0 5 )及远处转移(P<0 .0 1 )相关,而与组织学分型无关(P>0 .0 5 ) ,MVD与VEGF表达两者呈正相关(r=0 .89,P<0 .0 1 )。结论 VEGF与胃癌的血管生成密切相关,对胃癌的生长和浸润转移有促进作用,VEGF和MVD可作为反映胃癌生物学行为的指标之一。
Objective To explore the expression of vessel endothelia growth factor (VEGF) in gastric carcinoma and its clinical significance. Methods Using the immunohistochemical S-P technique, we examined the expression of VEGF and micro vessel density (MVD) in 124 cases of gastric carcinoma. The relationship between VEGF or MVD and histopathological type, TNM stages, tumor invasion and metastasis were analysed. Results The intensity of VEGF expression and MVD were correlated with TNM stages(P<0.05), lymph node metastasis(P<0.05), and distant metastasis(P<0.01), but not correlated with histopathological types. MVD was positively correlated with VEGF expression. Conclusion VEGF is closely correlated with angiogenesis in gastric cancer tissues, and it can accelerate the progression, invasion and metastasis of gastric cancer. VEGF and MVD can be considered as an indicator for reflecting the biological characteristics of gastric cancer.
