The incineration of municipal solid waste for power technology is with benefits of environment and energyand it is one important trend of the MSW disposal. MSW incineration is developing rapidly in China. This article gives a glance of development of MSW incinerationand carries out an analysis on the barriers of promoting MSW incineration from the points of technology and financing respectively.The potential of MSW incineration is also analyzed.
