The passive voice sentence in the Lahu language is an independent sentence pattern, which is essentially different from the active voice sentence in meaning and structures. Because of the SVO pattern, some objective topic sentences and the passive voice sentences in Lahu often coincide, but they are not equal. The word order of prefixing objectives and the structural word τηα21 are the grammatical sign of the Lahu language. The passive of Lahu belongs to the analytical and undeveloped type.
