A Survey of English Majors' Use of Metacognitive Strategies

对解放军外国语学院英语专业101名学生的元认知策略使用情况的调查表明, 学生不经常使用这些策略。自我管理、注意力安排、目标与计划三项元认知策略与学习成绩显著相关, 其中高分和低分组在使用目标与计划、自我管理和注意力安排策略方面有差异。

A survey conducted on English majors' use of metacognitive strategies indicates that the English majors do not often use those strategies, that the use of self managing, attention, goals and plans correlates with their total scores of end-of-term English tests, and that differences exist between high and low achievers in the use of strategies of goals and plans, self managing and attention.
