On the Competition and Cooperation between Comprehensive Universities and Advanced Normal Universities During the Transitional Period of Teacher Education

目前,我国教师教育呈现出多元化的局面,教师教育机构形成综合化态势,教师培养模式出现多样化趋势。综合性大学与师范大学举办教师教育有着各自不同的竞争优势,双方要在教师教育的人才培养模式、教师培养规格和教师教育的一体化等方面发挥各自的优势特色,相辅相成,共同建设我国现代教师教育体系。

Nowadays, teacher education in China is becoming diversified and teacher education institutions have become integrated. Both comprehensive university and normal universities have different competitive advantages on holding teacher training. Therefore, they should display their complementary advantages in teacher training model, teacher training qualification as well as teacher education integration. They should work together to build the modern teacher education system in China.
