二曲作为关学的终结者,其人性论思想直接来源于张载的人性二元论,但并不是简单继承,他进行了发展和改造,以传统人性本善的德性主义人性论为本质,吸收阳明学的性无善无恶为本体,最终将人性二元论推向一元论。

Erqu, the last scholar who studied Guanzhong school, derived his theory of human nature directly from Zhang Zai's dualism of the human nature, but he developed it and improved it, essentially based on the traditional goodness nature of human, combined with the nature in the neutral state of being between evil and good. As a result he changed the dualism of human nature to the monalism.
