保持GIS数据的现势性是GIS应用和发展的“瓶颈”。本文探讨了GIS数据自动更新的一般过程,将自动变化检测归纳为三种基本实现方法,详细讨论了三种方法的具体实现过程,并对各个方法的特点进行了分析,最后指出了需要进一步研究的问题。

It is vital to keep GIS data “fresh” for application and development of GIS.This paper describes a general process for automatic data updating of GIS,discusses three basic methods of change detection,and analyses the characteristic of these methods.Finally,the outlook are presented for further studies.
