The Foreignization Strategy in Intercultural Translation

翻译是一种跨文化交际活动,从促进人类文化多样性、丰富人类多元文化、使之平等共存这一角度来看,应在文化翻译中采取“异化”的策略,必要时辅之以归化的翻译。

Translation is an intercultural communication. Considering from the angles of improving the variety of human culture, and enriching the pluralistic culture of human being,foreignization strategy should be used, and domestication is used as a supplementary method,where appropriate, in intercultural translation, to achieve equality and co-existence of different cultures.
