浅谈情感因素对外语学习的影响

Brief discussion on the influence of personal emotion upon foreign language studies

许多人在学习外语中遇到了各种各样的困惑 ,除智力 (指聪明程度 )方面的因素外 ,这些问题多数来自情感方面 ,比如自我控制能力差、自信心不足等。所谓情感智力是指认识、调控和激励自我情感的能力以及关心他人、建立协调人际关系的能力 ,它是决定成败的关键。因此 ,我们要从自我控制、自我激励和关心他人、建立协调的人际关系等方面培养学生的情感智力 ,帮助他们学好外语。

In foreign language studies, many people confront various problems and puzzles, which mainly result from emotional factors apart from intellectual ones, including the lack of self-control and self-confidence. The emotional intelligence means the ability to understand, control and encourage oneself and also the ability to take care of others and establish harmonious interpersonal relations. The author believes that the emotional intelligence plays a decisive role in doing everything successfully. Therefore, we should make great efforts to cultivate students' emotional intelligence in their self-control, self-encouragement, concerning others and establishing harmonious interpersonal relations so as help students learn the foreign language well.
