The Cultivation of Intercultural Communicative ompetence in English Teaching

语言交际中的文化差异表现在词汇方面,交际习惯和行为方式中,价值观和思维方式中。这种差异给学生语言习得造成了障碍,为此,要培养学生的跨文化交际意识,运用语言学理论,指导英语教学;转变传统的教学观念,提高教师自身素质,强化异质文化意识,培养学生对异质的兴趣和宽容态度。

From the perspective of the relationship between language and culture, the paper deals with the cultural differences in language communication and analyzes the obstacles to the language acquisition of the students by the cultural differences. In order to improve the students’ communicative competence, the author summarizes some countermeasures for the improvement of the students’ communicative competence on the basis of a lot of the previous research work at home and abroad, namely: to cultivate the students’ communicative awareness, to change the traditional teaching concepts, to strengthen the cultural ideals and train their interests and attitudes to the different culture.
