论我国强制医疗制度之完善

On Perfection of the System of the Compulsory Medical Treatment in Our Country

统计表明,精神病人犯罪已成为我国不可回避的社会问题。为有效地预防已经造成危害结果的精神病人继续危害社会,有必要对其强制医疗。我国的相关立法却过于宽泛,缺乏可操作性。在比较、借鉴外国(或地区)立法例的基础上,我国的强制医疗制度应该完善起来。

Statistics show that criminal activities of mental patients have become an unavoidable social problem. To prevent such people from damaging the society again, the compulsory medical treatment must be adopted, while the relevant laws in our country are obviously not specific enough to be implemented. The system of the compulsory medical treatment in our country should be perfected on the basis of other countries or areas' relevant laws.
