On the Publication of Ancient Books by Shenbao Newspaper Office in Late Qing Dynasty

晚清时期,创办于上海最早的近代中文报馆《申报》馆在西学东渐的历史背景下,开拓创新,在办好报纸的同时,围绕报业为中心发展图书出版事业,其中在古籍出版方面引领潮流,贡献良多,成为中国出版逐步走向近代化的一个缩影。

In the late Qing Dynasty,under the influence of westem academy,Shenbao Newspaper Office,the earliest one estabilished in Shanghai,at the same time of issuing newspaper,took initiative to publish ancient books and made a lot of contributions to the modernization of China's publishing cause.
